Dear partners,
Last year we developed and provided two on-line courses in the field of Economics of Animal Health. These were successfully given and will be provided this year again.
The first course starting on March 31 2014, “Economic principles and concepts for the veterinary sciences”, is an introductory course and aims at providing beginning students in the field of animal health economics with the basic concepts and issues in economics as they underlie decision making around animal health problems.
The second course starting May 12 2014, “Applied economic modelling for the veterinary sciences” aims at making the student become familiar with basic issues and tools involved in economic decision making. After studying this unit the student should be able to contribute in an informed manner to economic decision making discussions and evaluate the economic decisions of others.
