[Job announcement] IFSTAL seeks to recruit a team of five full-time Coordinators for the ‘Innovative Food Systems Teaching and Learning’ (IFSTAL) Programme, one to be based in each of the consortium institutions. The positions are fixed-term contracts from mid-2015 until 30 September 2018.
IFSTAL is a HEFCE-funded collaboration across a consortium of five higher education institutions: the University of Oxford, City University London, the University of Reading, the University of Warwick and the Leverhulme Centre for Integrative Research on Agriculture and Health (LCIRAH). It offers a broad overview of the food system on a voluntary basis to any Masters or PhD student in any of the five HEIs studying a subject related to food security. It aims to develop a substantial cohort of graduates trained in the theory, practice and methodologies of food systems ‘thinking’ and research to complement their specialist skills. Initially, IFSTAL will be offered for each of the three academic years 2015/16 – 2017/18.
